On Thursday, November 6, 2025, Kyle Ferree lost his life doing the work he loved — linework. A devoted husband and proud member of IBEW Local 2100, Kyle loved the outdoors, hunting, and fishing, and he showed up for his crew and his family with fierce loyalty. His sudden passing leaves a young family facing immediate expenses, lost income, and a long road through grief. Kyle’s work family has launched this campaign to raise emergency funds to help his wife and children with housing, bills, childcare, counseling, and other essentials as they begin to rebuild. All gifts go directly to Kyle’s family via NSUJL/Help a Hero.

I hope my small gift will help Kyle's family although I know nothing can ease the loss of a dear father and husband. God bless these men who perform this dangerous and mostly thankless job. We all owe you such a tremendous debt for what you do. I wish I could do more to help.
