We are reaching out to ask for your support for our colleague and friend, Ty Eifert.
Ty is a dedicated employee and firearm instructor at Calibers in Greensboro, North Carolina, as well as a proud United States Marine Corps Veteran. He continues to support elite combat teams and brings that same commitment and professionalism to his work every day.
On Tuesday, April 7th at approximately 11:15 AM, Ty suffered a tragic accidental gunshot wound. While retrieving items from his truck, his holstered firearm fell and discharged, causing a serious injury to his chest.
Thanks to the immediate response of his coworkers and a nearby 82nd Airborne Army medic, who rendered critical trauma care within seconds, Ty’s life was saved. He required five units of blood, and his condition upon arrival at the hospital was extremely critical. Through his strength, resilience, and determination to return to his family, Ty survived this devastating incident.
Ty has now been discharged from the hospital and has begun the long road to recovery and physical therapy. However, he is expected to be out of work for at least two months, placing a significant financial strain on him and his family due to medical expenses and lost income.
We are organizing a fundraiser to help support Ty and his family during this challenging time. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will make a meaningful difference.
Thank you for your generosity, support, and for keeping Ty in your thoughts and prayers during his recovery.
