Support 10 year old Strongman Jameson and the Creiglow family through Leukemia Treatment and Bone Marrow Transplant
RSA’s Riverside County Deputy Sheriff Relief Foundation is accepting donations to support the Creiglow family as 10-year-old Jameson faces another high-risk relapse of leukemia and prepares for intensive treatment followed by a bone marrow transplant. Jameson is the son of Corporal Jeffrey Creiglow of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office Thermal Station. We wish a page like this were never needed. But when one of our own is facing the unimaginable, we are honored to stand beside them.
Jameson was only four years old when he was diagnosed with Pre-B Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in January 2021. Since then, he has endured years of chemotherapy, surgeries, radiation, lengthy hospital stays, multiple relapses and, most recently, CAR-T cell therapy. After weeks of testing and procedures, Jameson’s family recently learned that his leukemia has returned in both his bone marrow and central nervous system. They also learned that the leukemia is now CD19-negative, meaning his CAR-T cells can no longer recognize it. Because of this and where the leukemia has returned, his medical team considers this a high-risk relapse.
There was no time to wait. Jameson has been admitted to Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital and has already begun treatment. He will undergo chemotherapy, twice weekly spinal treatments and radiation to his brain and spine with the goal of reaching a deep remission so he can move forward with a bone marrow transplant this winter.
For Jameson and his family, this means another long and incredibly difficult season of hospital stays, procedures, treatment, and recovery. Known to many as “Strongman Jameson,” he has continued to face everything asked of him with extraordinary courage. His strength inspired the Creiglow family’s motto, “We can do hard things.” The months ahead will bring extended hospital stays, time away from work and home, and the many additional expenses that come with treatment, transplant, and recovery. The Creiglow family has spent nearly six years walking through circumstances no family should ever have to face. Through it all, Jameson has remained joyful, brave and determined to keep fighting.
