On December 18, 2025, we tragically lost our brother, Michael Swope, in an off-duty accident. Michael was a charismatic individual with a great sense of humor who left a lasting impression on everyone he met. At work, he was a dedicated firefighter, paramedic, and Field Training Officer who took pride in mentoring others and serving his community. At home, he was a loving husband and a devoted father whose family meant everything to him.
Right now, the Swope family is facing an unimaginable loss at a moment when the absence of a loved one is felt the most. As fire fighters, we believe in taking care of our own, not just on the job, but when it matters most.
The Lewisville Fire Fighters Foundation is asking for your support. Your donation will go directly toward helping Michael’s wife and children as they navigate the days ahead, easing the financial burden so they can focus on healing and being together.
Please consider donating today. Every contribution, no matter the size, is a powerful show of support and a reminder to the Swope family that they are not alone.
Donations are being collected through the Lewisville Fire Fighters Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Contributions may be tax-deductible as allowed by law.
