The Lewisville Fire Fighters Association is asking for support for one of our own and his family during a time no one is ever prepared for.
On April 16th, their 19-month-old son, a happy and otherwise healthy little boy, was diagnosed with a large malignant tumor on his left kidney. It was the kind of news that stops everything.
He went into surgery shortly after. After four hours, doctors were able to remove the tumor along with his left kidney. The surgery was successful, and he is now recovering. The strength this little boy has already shown is incredible.
But this is just the beginning.
He now faces chemotherapy and possibly more treatments to make sure every trace of cancer is gone. The road ahead will be long, and it will take everything they have.
We stand with this family. Now we are asking you to stand with them too.
