A South Jordan patrol officer suffered a critical gunshot wound during a shootout with a suspect in a South Jordan neighborhood. The round impacted his femur, clipped the femoral artery and lodged in his “lower torso”. Quick thinking cops on scene literally saved his life. He has a long road to recovery. He will be unable to work any overtime etc and is also in need of a comfortable recliner to aid in the recovery.
