UPDATE:
It is with great regret to inform you, that Sgt. Bob Spohn has passed away on Friday January 13th. We will still be following through with all of the planned fundraisers that were going to assist him in the medical bills. Now these funds will go to his loving wife Nancy to assist her. Please pray for Bob’s family, the Azle Police Department, and the entire Thin Blue Line family as we mourn the loss of this great man that served his community and country for so many years.
Sergeant Spohn is a 34 year police veteran of the Azle Police Department. He also served 4 years in the military. He was recently diagnosed with Cervical Dystonia. Cervical Dystonia is a rare disease that causes involuntary muscle contractions in the neck and back, resulting in extreme contortions of the body. There is a surgery available for this condition, however it is very expensive. The money raised will go towards Sergeant Spohn's medical expenses.
