Sgt. Andrew Kempker is a 15-year veteran of the New Braunfels Police Department. He was recently diagnosed with colon cancer and will undergo chemotherapy soon. Sgt. Kemper has a loving wife and children ages 10 and 8.
 
Through his time at the New Braunfels Police Department, he has served as Patrol Officer, Traffic Officer, Community Liaison Officer, and Sergeant. He is one of the most dedicated officers in his community and is well known for his compassion and for assisting others in their time of need. Sgt. Kempker has a big heart and is loved and respected by all at the New Braunfels Police Department.
