We reach out to you with heavy hearts yet unwavering hope to support one of our own, Randy Raymond—a dedicated firefighter with the Kern County Fire Department. Randy is currently battling stage 3 non-seminoma testicular cancer, and he needs our help now more than ever.
For the past three years, Randy has selflessly put others before himself, always ready to respond to emergencies and support our community. Now, it’s our turn to stand by him during this challenging time. In December 2023, Randy was diagnosed with testicular cancer. After a successful surgery, his doctor was optimistic that all the cancer had been removed. However, during his yearly checkup, Randy received the devastating news that the cancer had returned—and this time, it had spread to his lymph nodes in his abdomen and neck.
The road ahead is daunting, but Randy's strength and resilience inspire us all. As he faces this battle, he is unable to work, making it essential for us to come together and ease the financial burden that this situation brings.
Firefighters are not just colleagues; they are family. They are always the first to respond when lives are in danger, and now it’s time for us to return that favor. Every contribution, big or small, will make a significant difference. Your generosity will provide not only financial relief but also hope, encouragement, and strength to Randy and his loved ones during this incredibly challenging time.
Thank you to everyone who has shown support so far and to those who will continue to stand by Randy in his fight against cancer.
