Critical Incident

In 2023, Jean Arias proudly began his law enforcement career by becoming a Police Officer for the NYPD. It was Officer Arias's lifelong dream to serve and protect residents with courage and commitment. In 2025, Police Officer Arias transferred to the Yonkers Police Department where he proudly began the duty of keeping the residents of the community he lives in safe.

Now we are coming together to support one of our own. On February 3rd, 2026, Police Officer Arias suffered a devastating loss by fire at his residence, where he lived with his father Juan, his mother Ana and his two brothers Jaciell and Jandell.

After giving so much to keep others safe, Police Officer Arias and his family are facing the overwhelming task of rebuilding their lives from the ground up. This fundraiser is an opportunity for our community to show the same strength, compassion and solidarity the Officer Arias has shown in uniform. Each contribution, no matter the size, will help provide immediate relief and a path forward during this incredibly difficult time.
