Update: We are saddened to learn that Jess has passed away. Please keep the family in your prayers.

On Monday, October 17th, the wife of DPS Special Agent Joey Rodriguez, Jessica Rodriguez, suffered a medical emergency that brought her to the ICU where she has been ever since. Jess is in for the fight of her life, but she is proving to be just that, a fighter! It has been a roller coaster since the event occurred and the journey ahead will be long and bumpy.

The DPS Troopers Foundation is raising money to assist the Rodriguez family with expenses while Jess is in the hospital. If you can, please donate! The donor pays a small fee up front and 100% of what you donate goes to the family.

We would like to be able to offer as much support as possible to Jess and her family during this time. Jess has a 16-month-old son, Josiah, her parents, sister, and our DPS family member Joey who has been by her side every day.
