Honoring Deputy Corlew:

It is with heavy hearts that we share the loss of Motor Deputy Timothy Corlew, a dedicated member of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, who tragically lost his life in the line of duty on January 8, 2025. Deputy Corlew’s commitment to serving and protecting our community has left an indelible mark, and his loss is profoundly felt by his colleagues, friends, and the community he so passionately served.

Deputy Corlew joined RSO in 2016 and most recently served as a member of the motor team at the Jurupa Valley Station. Beyond the badge, Deputy Corlew was a loving husband to his wife, Mercedes, and a devoted father to his two children, Riley (17) and Kasey (11).

During this unimaginably difficult time, we invite you to join us in honoring Deputy Corlew’s legacy by supporting his family. Your contributions will assist Mercedes, Riley, and Kasey as they navigate this heartbreaking loss and help ensure they have the resources they need in the days ahead.

Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful impact and serve as a testament to the gratitude and respect we hold for Deputy Corlew’s service and sacrifice.

Together, let us stand in solidarity with the Corlew family and ensure they feel the unwavering support of the community Deputy Corlew so faithfully served.

Thank you for your kindness and generosity during this time of mourning.

Thinking of you, Riley & Kasey. My heart is heavy and will miss seeing Tim at work, talking about silly traffic things. He truly was a light and a joy to have in life. I will miss his smile and silly jokes. I’m so thankful we got to spend time together on double dates. Never failed to be a good time together. I now see my interactions with the public as making friends like Tim did. Love the Corlew family.
