Officer Solomon was one of my Non-Commissioned Officers when I first entered the Fleet Marine Force some years ago. He was very kind, wise, and willing to teach and lead. His wife Shawna was also incredibly kind and patient, and I loved talking with her about her time in the Corps and Afghanistan. They both provided so much guidance for me and even almost 8 years later I have not forgotten that. My family and I are keeping them in our prayers that God would provide healing and a full recovery.
