Liam is the 12 year old son of Jason and Darcey Myers. On Easter weekend 2023, Liam was diagnosed with a very rare, very difficult to treat brain tumor. After a myriad of tests, bloodwork, lumbar punctures, etc he had surgery to remove as much of the tumor as they could. This surgery was followed by 4 months of chemo. Liam is currently in his last week of chemotherapy. In September, he will begin an intense cycle of radiation. Liam and his parents live 3+ hours away from the hospital where Liam is receiving treatment. You can imagine how exhausting it is for them to drive over 3 hours, be at the hospital for about 6 hours of treatment, and then drive 3 hours home… and to do this for several days every week! During Liam's radiation treatments, they will be making this trip 5 times a week fo  at least a month straight! The vehicle they drive is a Camry with almost 200,000 miles on it, so please pray for the car to perform optimally throughout these travels.

Liam's dad, Jason, is a Pennsylvania State Trooper. Jason's current command staff has been unwilling to accommodate his schedule to allow him to take his son back and forth to treatments. Hence, Jason has had to take 2 months of UNPAID leave. To any family, this would be a big financial burden. But to a family with 6 kids, one income, and a child currently undergoing cancer treatment… this burden is incomprehensible.

Please pray for Liam, Jason and Darcey, and their children. And please consider helping them as they traverse this valley.

I donated because I feel so bad for your family. Cancer has drastically affected our family also. I will pray for healing for your son. Stay hopeful and upbeat no matter what happens. God is good.
