The sisters and brothers of IBEW Local 1249 are heartbroken by the loss of one of our own, Journeyman Lineman Stephen P. Lockett, card # D938609, who tragically passed away following an emergency incident.
Stephen was a 27-year member of Local 1249 and looked forward to enjoying his retirement with his wife of 29 years and their four children.
His dedication to his country was as fierce as his dedication to our Local. Stephen honorably served our nation in the US Army and was a veteran of the Desert Storm campaign. During his service, he was awarded the Army Lapel Button, National Defense Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, and the Sharpshooter Marksmanship Qualification Badge with Rifle Bar.
Our thoughts are with the Lockett family as they grieve this devastating loss. Your support during this difficult time is deeply appreciated.
