FBCSO Deputy Kenneth Lewis Involved in Major Accident

At approximately 3:40 a.m., FBCSO Deputy Kenneth Lewis was involved in an accident while assisting a stranded motorist on I-10 near Eldridge Road in Houston.

Preliminary information indicates Deputy Lewis was in his personal vehicle when he pulled over to help the motorist and was struck by a passing vehicle that fled the scene. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Please keep Deputy Lewis and his family in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate this tragic incident.
