Ignite Hope: Support for Firefighters' Health and Well-being

Welcome to the Ignite Hope: Support for Firefighters' Health and Well-being fundraiser, organized by the Eternal Flames Foundation. We are a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with a burning passion to stand beside our firefighting heroes and their families during their toughest battles.

Our Cause

Firefighters bravely face the flames to protect our communities, but their battle doesn't end when the fires are extinguished. They are confronted with a higher risk of occupational illness and disease, as outlined in the Presumptive Law Chapter 607. This includes various forms of cancer and respiratory diseases that arise from their courageous service.

Our Team

Our volunteer team is comprised of individuals who have walked this challenging path. We know firsthand the struggles of dealing with workers’ compensation, employer issues, and extensive paperwork. We've experienced the emotional toll of seeing a loved one fight occupational cancer or illness.

Our Promise

We are committed to ensuring that no ONE fights alone and no ONE is forgotten. Through this fundraiser, we aim to:

  • Educate firefighters and their families about occupational illness and disease, helping them understand their risks and rights.
  • Provide Resources that are instrumental in helping firefighters and their families navigate the complexities of medical care, workers' compensation, and support services.
  • Advocate for changes at the departmental and policy levels to prioritize the safety and health of firefighters.
  • Support emotionally and financially, the families dealing with the heavy burden of a loved one’s occupational illness.

How You Can Help

By contributing to the Ignite Hope fundraiser, you are fanning the flames of support for firefighters and their families during their time of need. Your generous donation will provide critical educational materials, advocate for safer working conditions, and directly aid families grappling with the impacts of occupational illness or disease.

Please join us in this vital mission. Ignite Hope for our firefighters and their families today by donating to the Eternal Flames Foundation. Together, we can create a blaze of support that lights the way towards a healthier, safer future for our brave first responders and their loved ones.

Donate now and be a beacon of hope for those who risk their lives to save ours.

Thank you for your kindness and generosity. Together, we can make a real and lasting difference.

The Eternal Flames Foundation has applied to the IRS for recognition as a tax-exempt public charity described in section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code; this application is pending review by the IRS.  The Eternal Flames Foundation is currently eligible to receive tax-deductible charitable contributions

No one should go through these storms alone. There is strength in numbers and knowing that others care.
