Memorial

Detective Terry Fincher’s dedication to public service has left a legacy of courage and dedication. On May 22nd, 1996, Terry’s life was tragically cut short in Yorba Linda, but his spirit of service lives on. For seventeen years, he showed an unwavering dedication to the Brea and Yorba Linda communities, earning the Officer of the Year and the Medal of Honor for his heroism.

Today, we have a unique opportunity to honor Detective Fincher’s sacrifice. The Detective Terry Fincher Memorial Highway on the 91 Freeway is a tribute to his life, but we need your help to make it a reality. With a fundraising goal of $15,000, every donation will directly support the creation and maintenance of memorial signage, ensuring Terry’s legacy continues to inspire.

This is our moment to act. By contributing to the Detective Terry Fincher Memorial Highway, we not only preserve his memory but also support the values he lived by. Excess funds will aid the Brea Public Safety Employee Association Memorial Foundation, continuing to support those who, like Terry, put their lives on the line for us every day.
