The Carlisle, Pennsylvania community is mourning the tragic and unexpected loss of Police Officer Michael “Mike” McGeehan, who faithfully served the Middlesex Township Police Department in Cumberland County for the past 12 years. On July 11, 2026, Mike passed away following a sudden medical emergency, leaving behind a grieving family, department, and community that will forever miss his dedication, kindness, and unwavering commitment to serving others. Beyond the badge, Mike was always willing to lend a hand, and he proudly spent time coaching his son’s track and football team investing in the lives of young athletes both on and off the field.

Above all else, Mike was a devoted husband to his wife, Nicole, and an incredibly proud father to his sons, Landon, Brady, Cooper, and twin boys, Colton and Chase. His family was the center of his world, and anyone who knew Mike knew there was nothing he loved more than being a husband, a dad, and cheering on his boys in everything they did. As Nicole and the boys begin to navigate the heartbreaking days, weeks, and months ahead, they are also facing the unexpected financial burdens that come with such a sudden loss.

Please consider supporting the McGeehan family during this incredibly difficult time. Every donation, no matter the amount, will help ease their financial burden and provide support as they adjust to life without Mike. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser and keeping Nicole, the boys, and all who loved Mike in your thoughts and prayers is a meaningful way to help. On behalf of the McGeehan family and the Middlesex Township Police Department, thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support.

So sad to hear of Officer Michael McGeehan’s untimely death. As a retired Trooper I felt the need to help Nicole and the 5 children who are now without a husband and father. May God, your family and friends get you through this difficult time.
