As many are aware, on January 6th, Ross Esparza's life took a detour and was diagnosed with aggressive Stage 4 Cancer of an unknown origin. Ross was life-flighted from Prosser Memorial on Thursday, January 8th, in critical but stable condition. Since then, Ross has perplexed the medical community with unexplained lesions, masses, blood work, and biopsies, becoming a mystery. On Wednesday, January 14th, he was transported to Portland to begin treatment for what is believed to be lymphoma with confirmed anaplastic multiple myeloma that has spread to his brain, lungs, pancreas, liver, and, of course, his bones.
During this time, medical bills, lodging in Seattle, transports, tests, and medical copays, along with moving costs to the Vancouver area, have drained our savings with more expenses coming to help Ross fight this battle. While this is a terminal diagnosis, Ross is determined to fight each day to see our precious daughter graduate high school. Doctors seem hopeful as long as we can do experimental treatments, bone marrow transplants, etc. since anaplastic multiple myeloma is usually not responsive to conventional treatments.
Help us help Ross fight this and cover some of the unexpected costs so that Ross can be at Arika's graduation in the future!!!
