Critical Incident

Doug Seitz has proudly served as an officer with the Grand Prairie Police Department for nearly 27 years, dedicating his career to protecting others and serving his community with integrity and commitment.

On January 18, tragedy struck when a fire tore through the Seitz family home, resulting in a total loss. In a matter of moments, Doug, his wife, and their youngest son were displaced after losing their home.

While we are incredibly grateful that no one was injured in the fire, the emotional and financial impact will be overwhelming.

Doug has spent nearly three decades answering the call to help others in their time of need. Now, his family could use the community's support that he has so faithfully served. This fundraiser has been created to help the Seitz family with expenses they may face as they recover and rebuild after this devastating loss.

Any contribution, no matter the size, is a meaningful way to stand beside this family during a difficult chapter.

Your kindness, generosity, and support serve as a reminder that heroes are never alone.
