Yesterday Charlie, his wife Angela, his three sons Charlie Jr, Andrew, Matthew, along with his brother Michael suffered a devastating loss when their home was destroyed by a fire. Many of their personal belongings were destroyed leaving Charlie and his family with virtually nothing. Thankfully no one was hurt but tragically their family dog “Duke” and family cat “Princess” perished in the fire.
For those of you who don't know Charlie he is a hardworking and selfless husband, father, and friend. He has passionately served the Providence Police Department for the past 25 years and is a proud military veteran. His brother Michael is also a 32 year active member of the Providence Police Department. Mike is also heavily involved in our PPD community and dedicates quite a bit of his time to other organizations throughout the state assisting others in need as well.
This family is literally a “give the shirt of your back” kind of family that now needs our support. Any assistance you can provide Charlie and his family during this extremely difficult time would be greatly appreciated.
