Henry Ratcliff, a lineman out of IBEW Local 304 has always answered the call—first as a U.S. Air Force veteran, then as a lineman. Now, after a serious injury and cancer battle, Henry needs our help. You know how sometimes things just do not go as planned? Well, that's what happened to Henry.
In July 2021, while working in Southern California for Local 47 and PAR, Henry suffered a severe knee injury. What started as a torn meniscus turned out to be a torn ACL. While waiting for surgery approvals, Henry received devastating news—he had cancer. After beating cancer and finally undergoing knee surgery in October 2023, his knee didn’t heal properly. Today, his ACL remains unstable, and he needs a revision surgery. In short, Workers’ comp denied the revision and stopped his pay in August 2025 claiming Maximum Medical Improvement has been met.
Henry hasn’t been able to work since January 2023. His savings are gone, and he’s relocated to Texas to reduce costs while fighting for the care he needs. Despite having a lawyer, the process is slow, and Henry's family is at a breaking point.
Henry is a husband, father of two, and stepdad to two USAF servicemen. He loves paddle boarding, snowboarding, hiking, and traveling—things he hasn’t been able to enjoy for years. His wife works hard, but it’s not enough to cover mounting expenses. Now, it’s our turn to answer the call for him.
Your donation will help Henry cover basic living expenses, medical costs, and legal fees while he fights for the care he deserves. Every dollar makes a difference. Please donate or share Henry’s story today.
