Aron Webster has spent about 17 years showing up when other families needed help. Now, his own family needs us.
His daughter, Elly, is just 15 years old. She has been diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma, and she has a long road of treatment ahead.
But before you know anything else about her cancer, you should know Elly.
She’s a fun-loving, wild teenager with a big personality and a beautiful smile. She loves hanging out with friends, listening to music, gaming, riding her bike, swimming and acting. She collects sensory goodies, and her favorite color isn’t just pink. It’s PINK.
She has so much life to enjoy. Cancer shouldn’t get to take that away from her.
And Elly has every intention of kicking this disease right in the teeth.
Her dad is a fire engineer with the Buckeye Fire Department, serving as both a Hazmat Technician and Technical Rescue Technician. He has spent his career helping people through emergencies. But there is no training that prepares a father to hear that his child has cancer.
Right now, Aron and his family need to be beside Elly. They need time together, room to breathe and the chance to focus on her care without the added weight of financial strain.
That is where your donation can help.
You cannot take away Elly’s diagnosis. But you can help make what comes next less overwhelming for her family. Your gift will help ease the financial pressure that comes with a long course of treatment, allowing the Websters to put more of their energy where it belongs: supporting their daughter.
Please donate today. Regardless of the amount, your support will help carry this family through a time no family should have to face alone.
If giving isn’t possible right now, please share Elly’s campaign and help her story reach someone who can. Keep her and the Webster family in your thoughts as she begins treatment.
Aron has been there for so many families. Now, please be there for his.
