The devastation that has occurred in California over the past 48 hours is unimaginable. My heart goes out to all who have been affected by the fires.
My friend Caroline and her husband Jimmy just had their first baby on December 13, 2024 - and yesterday (January 9, 2024) they lost their home in Altadena. Less than a month after welcoming their newborn, Baby Sofia, they went from joy and happiness, to actually living in one of the worst nightmares.
I can’t imagine the grief and loss they are experiencing right now, and on top of navigating a major life experience as a new parent, they’re now having to restart their life from scratch.
I would love to support these new parents as much as possible, and I want to ask - would you consider supporting them as well? Let’s help them rebuild their home, to replace material goods, and to ease the worry of having to care for a newborn under these circumstances.
