Baby Lorelai Rowe went to the hospital Saturday morning for respiratory distress due to RSV. They transferred her by ambulance to the children’s hospital in Dallas Tx. She is in the pediatric cardiac NICU at children’s hospital because of her heart condition and compromised lungs. We just found out a week ago that she has 2 congenital heart defects that require open heart surgery ASAP. Lorelai will not be able to have surgery until she has recovered from RSV, the cardiologist is saying it may be 4-6 weeks after she recovers before she is stable enough to undergo heart surgery.
Baby Lorelai's father is a Dallas County Sheriff Detention Officer, her grandfather is a retired Dallas County Sheriff Deputy, and her great grandfather is a retired Dallas County Sheriff Captain.
