Tommy Ordonez is a city of Corsicana Police Officer, and a current resident of Navarro County. Tommy has an only child, Aceson "Ace" Spencer.
On 11/02/2023 Aceson was with his mother, Alli Spencer, when what both parents believed to be a cold, unexpectedly turned into a much more severe illness.
On this particular day, Ace, who is nine months old, caught a fever and his eyes were beginning to not track correctly. Due to his eyes not tracking in conjunction with a fever, Alli decided to transport him to Children's Hospital. While in the emergency room, doctors ordered an immediate scan of his head. The scans showed a large amount of fluid was located in Ace's brain cavity. Ace urgently underwent his first surgery, and after successful drainage, an MRI was conducted to investigate further.
The following day Ace's parents were informed by MRI results that Ace had a Choroid Plexus Papilloma (large mass) at the base of his brain stem. Tommy and Alli decided to schedule an emergent surgery, to remove Ace's tumor. Within a couple days, with their eyes set on heading home, an unexpected complication occurred.
On the following Friday, Ace began to have seizures. The consistency and intensity of the seizures increased over the next couple days, along with other complications.
Ace is a fighter, but they have a long road of recovery ahead of them. Please donate to help Ace's family offset rising medical costs so they can continue to fight this battle together.
