Lewisville IAFF Local 3606 regrets to announce the death of Lewisville Fire Fighter/Paramedic Landun Charles. Brother Landun passed away early Friday, December 31, 2021, while off-duty. He was 31.

Landun was a dedicated member of Lewisville Local 3606 and Lewisville Fire, joining us in September 2019 after working as a fire fighter/paramedic with the College Station Fire Department. Landun later went on to become a flight paramedic, working part-time for Careflight. Landun will be remembered for his fierce determination and always finishing what he started.

Landun is survived by his wife Lauren, who is expecting their first child in February 2022. Due to this unexpected loss, we are creating this fund to help support his surviving family as they prepare to navigate the loss of Landun.

On behalf of all of us at the Lewisville Fire Fighters Association and the Charles family, we appreciate your support.

I am a Lewisville resident and am grateful for those who work to protect and serve us. As a mom, I cannot imagine what this firefighter's young wife is going through. This is a small way to be supportive.
