On March 8, 2026, Corporal Timothy O’Connor made the ultimate sacrifice while responding to a call in the line of duty. Like so many law enforcement officers across our nation, he answered the call to serve and protect others without hesitation, knowing the inherent risks Today, his family faces the unimaginable loss of a devoted husband, father, son, and hero. He made a sacrifice that could never be repaid and should never be forgotten.
In honor of Corporal O’Connor’s life and sacrifice, I have committed to running the Erie Presque Isle Marathon in full uniform on September 13, 2026, with a goal of raising $100,000 for his family. This effort is about more than completing 26.2 miles; it is about remembering a man who gave everything in service to others and ensuring that his family feels the support of a grateful community.
As part of this tribute, I will be attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the fastest marathon run in a police uniform. This attempt is not about personal achievement. It is about honoring Corporal O’Connor, bringing attention to this cause, and encouraging others to support his family.
