It all started by blending two families.
Alexis and Tim met in fall of 2015 and began dating. Alexis had Matt, a 13 year old boy she had adopted from foster care as a single woman. She also had Taz and Roxy two boxer pups.
Tim had Fiona (10) and Diego (8) from a previous marriage and Penny, a Doberman.
After dating for two years Alex and Tim were married in Newport Beach, kids and pups came together living in Huntington Beach.
Alex is an attorney who’s career took her into telecom, where she worked building big fake trees (cell phone towers). Tim has worked for Riverside County Sheriff’s Office for almost 18 years. He is currently an investigator.
The family enjoyed spending time together camping, spending time at the beach, traveling, and seeing live music. Alex enjoys daily yoga, while Tim enjoys Mt biking, climbing and running.
As Tim and Alexis built there new life with careers, kids, church, and pets, they also wanted their family to grow with more children. In 2019 they bought a house in Costa Mesa and became foster parents. In 2020 Paisley (2years) joined the family.
As time progressed over the next year and a half, Alex and Tim established a lasting relationship with Paisley’s birth parents. Although not officially adopted, Paisley was a welcome addition to Alex and Tim’s home and is every bit a part of their growing family.
In 2021, Alex and Tim began fostering Quinn, (2years). Paisley and Quinn immediately bonded and became just like sisters. Quinn’s adoption was finalized in Feb 2023.
As time passed the family progressed. Matt currently works as an electrician. Fiona is entering her junior year at UCLA pursuing a career in Art Conservation. Diego recently graduated from high school and is preparing to serve a full time 2-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Paisley and Quinn are thriving in 1st grade and Kindergarten in Spanish dual immersion.
Alex and Tim’s dedicated unity in faith and family continue on.
