With the family’s permission and blessing, we are sharing an important update with our membership and community regarding Deputy Sheriff Jonathan Cosby.

Deputy Cosby, a 14-year veteran of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office suffered a serious medical emergency while on duty on May 28, 2025. He was immediately transported to Eisenhower Medical Center, where he remains in the Intensive Care Unit.

We ask that you keep Deputy Cosby and his loved ones in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time. RSA is working closely with the family to provide ongoing support and any needed accommodations.
