Over the past 17 years, Travis touched countless lives throughout the Riverside County Probation Department—whether in our institutions, in the field, or within the community. To many of us, he was more than a colleague; he was a friend, a brother, and family. His smile, laughter, and quick wit had a way of brightening even the hardest of days, and his absence will be deeply felt across our department.
Travis began his career as a Probation Corrections Officer and worked his way to the role of Senior Probation Officer, proudly serving in multiple offices, including Murrieta, San Jacinto, Indio, Blythe, and Indio Juvenile Hall. Beyond his service to probation, he was also a proud Navy veteran, carrying that same sense of honor and commitment into every part of his life.
He is survived by his beloved eight-year-old son, with whom he cherished every moment, as well as his two sisters. His legacy of dedication, service, and compassion will continue to live on in the lives he impacted.
As we grieve, let us remember that everyone mourns in their own way. Please be kind, patient, and supportive of one another during this difficult time. Above all, take care of yourselves and lean on each other for strength. Our thoughts and prayers remain with Travis’s loved ones and with our RCP family.
