For the past 18 years, Deputy Marlin Hobbs has dedicated his life to serving and protecting others. As a School Resource Officer in Marion County, Tennessee, Marlin is much more than a law enforcement officer—he is a mentor, role model, and trusted friend to the students he serves every day. His presence has made a lasting impact on countless young lives, and his school community already feels the void during his absence.

This year has brought one unimaginable hardship after another for Marlin and his family.

In May, his 12-year-old daughter underwent open-heart surgery. Just one month later, the family experienced the heartbreaking loss of Marlin's mother. Earlier this year, Marlin also underwent eye surgery.

Then, on July 28, 2026, while attending a law enforcement training class, Marlin suffered a massive heart attack. Doctors discovered several arteries with 100% blockages, and he underwent emergency quadruple bypass surgery.

Marlin now faces a long recovery and will be unable to return to work for a minimum of three months. Having exhausted his available leave, his family is now facing the financial burden of lost income on top of overwhelming medical expenses.

For nearly two decades, Marlin has answered the call whenever others needed help. Now, he needs ours.

Your donation will go directly toward helping the Hobbs family with medical bills, household expenses, and the financial hardship that comes with an extended recovery. Every contribution—no matter the amount—will make a meaningful difference and allow Marlin to focus on what matters most: healing and returning to the students and community he loves.

If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser and keeping Marlin and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

Thank you for helping us support a man who has spent his life serving others. Now it's our turn to serve him.
