Deputy Greg Young with Summit County Sheriff’s Office was involved in a critical traffic accident while with his family on vacation in Colorado Springs, CO. He suffered extremely severe internal injuries in the accident, which was the result of being hit by men street racing. Our brothers and sisters in Colorado are helping the family and we are extremely grateful for their responsiveness. He was flown back to Utah by AirMed to recover in a Utah hospital. While they gave a tremendous discount, the costs of the transport were denied by the insurance company and they now face those costs. He faces a very long road to recovery.
