“Stand with Mark: A Firefighter's Call for Support"

Help Rebuild the Home of Oneonta's Bravest, Firefighter Mark DeGraw. In a twist of fate that none could have anticipated, Mark DeGraw, a dedicated firefighter serving the residents of the City and Town of Oneonta, now faces a crisis of his own. A large explosion in the neighborhood last week has left Mark's home severely compromised, and currently, a team of skilled engineers is meticulously inspecting the structural integrity of his house. The uncertainty looms large: whether it is safe for Mark and his family to repair their home, or if he must brace for the reality of losing his home altogether.

The man behind the badge.

Mark DeGraw is not just any firefighter; he is a beacon of loyalty and unwavering dedication. Throughout his career, he has epitomized the essence of selfless service, always placing the safety and well-being of his neighbors above his own. His commitment to the Oneonta community and its residents has never faltered, even in the face of personal adversity.

Today, Mark finds himself in an unprecedented situation. Four days after the explosion on Richards Ave affecting the DeGraw family home, Mark’s father, Nick, passed suddenly at his residence. Less than a week apart Mark went from dealing with the stress of a potential loss of his home and providing a safe place for his family to also dealing with the loss of his father.

Your Donation Makes a Difference: Every contribution, whether big or small, makes a significant difference. Your donation will directly support the restoration of Mark's home and provide him with the necessary resources during this challenging time.

Send Encouragement: Along with your financial support, a few words of encouragement for Mark can also go a long way. Let's show him that his community stands with him, just as he has always stood with us.
