Critical Incident

Our brother and Fort Worth Firefighter, Caleb Halvorson, was involved in a mayday incident while battling a residential structure fire on September 3rd. He sustained serious injuries and is currently receiving treatment at Parkland Hospital.

At the same time, Caleb and his wife, Haley, are facing another challenge with their son, Hudson, who was born 13 weeks early and is in the NICU in North Fort Worth. With the two hospitals located over an hour apart, the family faces a difficult commute on top of everything else.

This fundraiser was created to help ease the financial burden of travel, food, lodging, medical costs, and any loss of income during this trying time. Our hope is to lift as much of the weight off their shoulders as possible so they can focus on Caleb's recovery and caring for Hudson.

We are deeply grateful for your support of Caleb and his family. Please continue to send your prayers, encouragement, and kind words as we rally together for one of our own.

Thank you for serving our community. I pray God’s blessing on you and your precious son. You are both fighters. Psalm 127:3-5 “ Children are a heritage from the LORD, offspring a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them.”

So happy to hear you’re getting stronger each day. Here in Roanoke, Virginia, as a firefighter’s wife of 24 years and a grandmother to a grandbaby born at 25 weeks, your story has truly touched me. I’m rooting for you, Caleb, Haley, and baby boy!
