Devarjaye “DJ” Daniel is a 13-year-old from Houston, Texas, who is courageously fighting brain and spinal cancer. First diagnosed six years ago and given just five months to live, DJ defied the odds and beat cancer once. Now, with the cancer having returned, he continues to fight with unshakeable strength and determination.
DJ aspires to be a police officer and has already made a significant mark by being recognized by over 800 law enforcement agencies nationwide. This young man is committed to honoring fallen officers and spreading hope, even as he fights for his own life.
We’re raising funds to bring DJ and his father to Police Week in Washington, D.C. This is a chance for DJ to be surrounded by the law enforcement community he admires so deeply.
All donations will go directly toward their hotel, airfare, rental car, and meals. DJ’s father is currently not working, and they need our help to make this trip possible. Hotel reservations are already secured, we just need your help to cover the rest.
