Westchester COBA Community Cares Revives the Ice Bucket Challenge to Support Brother Shawn Scott and Raise ALS Awareness

The Westchester COBA (Corrections Officers' Benevolent Association) Community Cares Committee, in partnership with Quinn for the Win,  is proud to bring back the Ice Bucket Challenge—this time in support of our brother, Shawn Scott, who is bravely battling ALS.

To show Shawn—and all those affected by this devastating disease—that they are not alone, we are launching a campaign to raise both awareness and funds. When you take on the Ice Bucket Challenge, please share it on your social media, tag Shawn, WCOBA, and Quinn for the Win in your video, and if you can, make a donation to our secure Help A Hero fundraiser.

All proceeds will be presented to the Scott family in August at the Quinn for the Win Foundation annual Ice Bucket Challenge event at Yonkers Raceway.

Please join your Westchester County Corrections Officers in standing with Shawn and all who suffer from ALS. Let’s rally together, have some fun, and make a difference—one bucket at a time.

“…When you fight, we fight,” Shawn Scott
