IN LOVING MEMORY

Honoring the Life and Legacy

of Sergeant Amaya

Supporting Natalie and Andrew

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Sergeant Amaya on August 26, 2026.

Sergeant Amaya was a beloved son, brother, husband, and devoted father. He dedicated more than three decades of his life to protecting and serving the Miami Beach community. He served as a full-time officer with the Miami Beach Police Department from August 1987 through September 2018, and he continued his commitment to public service as a Reserve Officer from 2018 through 2024.

Beyond the uniform, Sergeant Amaya was a loving father to Natalie and Andrew. They are currently a junior and a senior, with college and an exciting new chapter of their lives just around the corner.

This donation page has been created to honor Sergeant Amaya's remarkable life and legacy by supporting the children he loved so deeply. All contributions will help Natalie and Andrew with college-related expenses and ease some of the financial stress that comes with pursuing higher education.

During this heartbreaking time, we hope to surround his family with the same care and support that Sergeant Amaya offered his community throughout his many years of service. No contribution is too small, and every donation, prayer, and shared message will mean more than words can express.

Thank you for helping us honor Sergeant Amaya and invest in the future of Natalie and Andrew.
