What is ONEA? ONEA was founded over 50 years ago with the current membership of over 200 federal, state, county and city narcotics officers. ONEA's primary function is the training of narcotics officers. ONEA also feels a responsibility to educate children as the best possible remedy curb future illegal drug activities.
How are the funds from the benefit used? The funds are used to assist at risk youth organizations that provide sports activities, educational programs to discourage the use of illegal drugs. ONEA in partnership with HITDA, organizes one conference a year to provide narcotic officers in the Region, to meet, share information, receive training on updated legal decisions, new investigative techniques, case studies investigations to promote an effective war on drugs.
ONEA is a tax-exempt non-profit organization; however, donations and gifts to ONEA are not tax deductible.
